Introduction

 

Intelligent mobile phones are the newest paradigm of electronic component, in the sense of the Makimoto Wave standardization. Mobile phone technology follows other revolutionary products like LSI and MSI circuits, Microprocessors, and FPGAs.

 

A simple phone allows the engineers to create complex systems without developing a custom platform (µP and mesaline boards, keyboard and displays, communication circuits, embedded PCs, etc.). The achieved advantages in terms of time, cost, and reliability are unthinkable comparing with the design of tailored hardware and software.

 

The DSLab works on Android and IOS applications in the following areas:

 

·         Learning material and tutorials on Electrical Engineering; in particular Digital Design and FPGAs.

·         Analysis and Measurements of Sports.

·         Wireless medical solutions.

·         GPS guidance of blind persons.

 

DSLab also have programming workforce for developing OEM applications under contract, as well as professional training courses on Android.
