Combinational logic

Combinational logic is probably the easiest circuitry to design. The outputs from a combinational logic circuit depend only on the current inputs. The circuit has no remembrance of what it did at any time in the past.
Much of logic design involves connecting simple, easily understood circuits to construct a larger circuit that performs a much more complicated function. Several simple, often-used combinational logic circuits are the following:
