- E-Photon/ONe+ A European Union VI Framework Programme Network of Excellence in optical networkingi. I am currently leading the Joint Project on Optical Burst Switching.
- E-Magerit: The proposed scientific and technological program aims at pursuing novel research that supports the evolution of the future Internet, with emphasis on emerging applications and next generation networking. To this end, a consortium has been put together that gathers not only scientific excellence in the field but also expertise in national and international projects and continued collaboration with private and public institutions, together with a demonstrated capability to advise graduate students at the MS and PhD levels. It must be noted that the research groups that make up the consortium are well established and have ongoing participation in research projects and postgraduate programs for industry.
