I graduated in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, and received a Ph.D. in
Computer Science at Universidad
Autonoma de Madrid. I have worked in various
areas within Computer Science. My thesis was about a system for solving
mathematical problems formulated in a declarative language with connections to
a symbolic solver. Also, I was involved in several projects related to user
interfaces inspired on model-based approaches. Another work was the performed
one while at a post-doc position at the Information Sciences Institute, developing strategies for
automatic data presentation on the Web. Other works dealt with e-learning
scenarios where teachers and learners use texts with a high interactivity degree
for creating and using learning materials. Recently, I have been interested in
mechanisms for specifying simulation methods based on textual and visual
